Standing Work Order
Maintenance definition:
A standing work order, or open-ended work order, is issued for maintenance tasks that occur regularly over an extended period. Unlike a work order for a one-time job, a standing work order remains active for routine or repetitive maintenance activities, such as inspections or cleaning. This approach streamlines the maintenance process for tasks that need to be performed frequently, ensuring they are not overlooked and reducing administrative overhead.
