Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a standard for measuring manufacturing productivity by identifying the percentage of manufacturing time that is truly productive. It combines measures of availability, performance, and quality to provide insight into how effectively equipment is being utilized. By highlighting losses in these three areas, OEE helps identify specific issues that can be addressed to reduce downtime and optimize processes.
