Lead Time
Maintenance definition:
The amount of time that elapses between the initiation of a process and its completion. In maintenance, lead time might refer to the period from when a maintenance request is made to when the work is actually performed, including the time needed for ordering parts, scheduling labor, and completing the repair. Reducing lead time is crucial for improving maintenance efficiency and reducing downtime.
