Observation
High vibration was observed at crusher speed on the motor, indicating potential sheave misalignment or incorrect belt tension.
Recommendation
The CME recommended inspecting sheave alignment and verifying proper belt tension. Cleaning the crusher was also suggested to rule out buildup contributing to the condition.
Resolution
Customer replaced the motor, belts, and sheaves. During installation proper alignment and belt tension was achieved.
