Reaction Time-Response Time
Maintenance definition:
Reaction time refers to the interval between the identification of a need for maintenance (due to equipment failure or performance degradation) and the initiation of a maintenance response. Response time is the duration from the initiation of the response to the completion of the maintenance activity. Minimizing both reaction and response times is critical in reactive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and restore operational functionality quickly.
