Quick add warranties or receipts

For each asset you add or edit, you can add documents, of receipts and warranties type. To do this follow the steps below:

  1. Go and open the dialog for adding a new asset or for editing an existing asset;
  2. Within the dialog go to the Documents tab;
  3. Here you can opt to add one or more receipts, one or more warranties, or both;
  4. To add some receipts you can either directly upload them here or select some from the already uploaded receipts; please note that receipts are in fact documents uploaded to your account in the Receipts document category.

  5. To add some warranties you can either directly upload them here or select some from the already uploaded warranties; please note that warranties are in fact documents uploaded to your account in the Warranties document category.

  6. Once you have selected or uploaded the desired documents you can click on the Done button to end the add/edit operation or you can continue with adding information for the asset.

Share Inventory item

In AssetWatch you can share inventory item’s related information on social platforms like: Pinterest, Twitter, Google Plus or Facebook. To do this follow the steps below:

  1. Go to desired Inventory location;
  2. Select an inventory item by chcking the checkbox associated with it;
  3. Using the top bar menu click on the “Share” icon; you can also open item’s details page and click on the “Share” icon also;
  4. While in asset’s details page click on the Share icon and expand share options;

  5. Choose the platform to share information to and click on it;
  6. A dialog will pop-up and you will need to fill asset’s related information and confirm the share operation; depending on the platform you choose you will be able to add additional information and comments.

For Facebook share you will see a link for the shared item, a name, a picture, if available and you will also be able to add a comment and Share.
For Twitter you will be able to tweet a message including the item’s name and a link where to find additional information about the shared item.
For Google Plus share you will see a link for the shared item, a name and you will also be able to add a comment and Share.
For Pinterest share you will be able to create a board using the item’s name and picture, if available.

Navigate through your Inventory items

Navigation through your Inventory items comes natural and is very easy to perform. There are multiple ways for you to navigate through your Inventory items:

  • use the left sidebar and go to your all properties, rooms, assets or unassigned assets;
  • while you see all you properties, click on a property name to navigate in; further, if the property you navigated into has rooms, click on a room name to navigate in; rooms can only contain assets therefore there is not another level to go down;
  • while you see all your rooms, click on a room name to navigate in;
  • you can also search an item against some keywords and navigate in one of the results, if that item allow containment;
  • you can also filter items by a tag and navigate in one of the results, if that item allow containment.

Delete one or more Inventory items

To delete one or more Inventory items follow the steps below:

  1. While being in the desired Inventory location, select the items you want to delete by checking the checkboxes associated with them in the items list;
  2. After selecting them click onto the Delete icon placed in the Inventory top action bar;
  3. A confirmation dialog pops-up, confirm the dialog to complete the delete operation;
  4. All the selected items are deleted.

Please note that  any assets contained in each selected item, if the item allow containment, will be marked as unassigned. Any images or videos associated with the selected items will be moved to your Media Cloud.

You can also delete a single Inventory item by going to item details page and click onto the Delete icon placed in the Details top action bar;

For loading all of you assets we are using an industry standard behavior also known as infinite scroll. More assets are loaded as you scroll down the page progressively.

Use your media cloud to manage your Inventory items

You can add Inventory items(property, room, asset) using your media cloud. To do this, you have to drag and drop an image or a video from your media cloud onto the “+” box and then choose one of the 3 options(Add Asset, Add Property, Add Room – see below). After you click on the desired option, the corresponding window will appear on the screen and you can proceed with adding your inventory item.
